Vera Mae Leslie

Vera Mae Leslie, 77, Greencastle, died Saturday at her residence.

Born in Greencastle, she was he daughter of Rollie A. and Katherine (Kendall) Royse.

She was a homemaker.

She was married to Glenford "Glen" Leslie. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters Rosey Phipps and husband Mike, and Marsha Manion and husband Lew, all of Greencastle, and Janet King and husband Phil, Fillmore; son Thomas W. McClure and wife Diane, Brazil; sisters Zelma Phipps and husband Frank, Bainbridge; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Geneva Walton and Ruth Sanders, and brothers Jesse and Rollie Royse Jr.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chandler-Hays Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday.
