Charles Albert Brock

Charles Albert Brock, 96, Stilesville, died Monday.

Born in Morgan County, he was the son of Charles E. and Nancy (Davee) Brock.

He attended Centerton School, and was a farmer in Morgan County, moving to Hendricks County in 1935. He was a member of Stilesville Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge.

He married Ethel Simpson on Sept. 5, 1933. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are children Rita Ann Tennery and husband Rae, Mooresville, and Charles Keith Brock and wife Sharon, Stilesville; brother Gene Brock and wife Esther, Harlingen, Texas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Beverly Jean, a granddaughter, and siblings Grace, Alice, Ben, Pat, Floyd and Lucille.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
