Thursday, Sept. 20 -- A Conversation with the Author: bell hooks, 6-7:30 p.m. The 2007-08 Author Series begins its fourth season with the appearance of author bell hooks. The author of several children's books, hooks will read from and talk about them as well as her books, "All About Love" and "Salvation." hooks is also the author of a prolific body of work on feminism, race, art, education, and cultural politics. She will be at DePauw University from Sept. 17-21 as The Elizabeth P. Allen Distinguished University Professor. Her appearance at the library is co-sponsored by DePauw.
