Betty Ann Cummins

Betty Ann Cummins, 75, Martinsville, died Friday at Miller's Merry Manor in Mooresville.

Born in Paris, Ill., she was the daughter of George P. and Lois (Dickson) Sloan. She married Clarence E. Cummins, and he survives.

She was a registered Nurse for Dr. Robert Heavin, Coatesville.

She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle, and Bellville Church of Christ in Bellville.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Fischer and husband Joseph, Evansville; two brothers, Robert Sloan and wife Jo, Washburn, Ill., and James Sloan and wife Starkey, Alton, Ill.; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John F. Wright, parents, sisters Ruth Chady and Marcilee Breeding, and brothers John Sloan and Richard Sloan.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Embarras Cemetery, Redmon, Ill.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
