Stewards mark 50th year

Shirley and Don Steward

The 50th anniversary of Donald and Shirley Steward, Heritage Lake, will be celebrated from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 with an open house at the Roachdale Christian Church Family Life Center in Roachdale.

Steward and the former Shirley Berry were married Nov. 17, 1957 at Lafayette.

Both are retired teachers for North Putnam High School, and are members of Roachdale Christian Church. Both are graduates of Purdue University.

They are the parents of Bradley Steward and wife Lee Ann, and Barry Steward and wife Dee Ann, all of Indianapolis. They also have three grandchildren.
