Norman Lee Cox, 71, Monrovia, died Thursday at his residence.

Born in Greencastle, he was the son of Paul and Mildred (Thompson) Cox. He married Ann (Petty) Cox on Oct. 19, 1985, and she survives.

He attended Indiana State University and was a customer service representative for IBM, retiring in 1991 after completing 35 years of service.

Additional survivors include a son, Brett D. Cox, Cottonwood, Ariz.; a stepson, Jeff Greeson and wife Tara, Flower Mound, Texas; a stepdaughter, Amy Osbourne and husband Tom, Folsom, Calif.; brothers Jerry Cox, Fillmore, Wayne Cox, Stilesville, Ken Cox, Brazil, and Dennis Cox, Ann Arbor, Mich.; four step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carlisle and Son Funeral Home, Mooresville, with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, Ind.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
