The spotlight of PBS station WTIU is shining on Greencastle.

The premier showing of "Our Town: Greencastle, Indiana" is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the Walden Inn social center.

Greencastle is the fourth community profiled in WTIU's ongoing series of towns and cities in southern and central Indiana. The premier will include segments on the history, economy, folklore and people of Greencastle, including highlights of the Heritage Wall, the impact of IBM leaving the community, DePauw University, the National Road, the fire of 1874, and the John Dillinger bank robbery.

The premier is a free event open to the community, but seating is limited so RSVP's are recommended by calling 658-1005. Walk-ins are welcome.

A reception and cash bar will open at 7 p.m.
