DePauw men drop contest with Wabash, 71-60

CRAWFORDSVILLE -- The Tigers' men's basketball team dropped to 4-2 on the season following a 71-60 loss at Wabash. The Little Giants improved to 3-3 with the victory.

Wabash scored the game's first nine points, but DePauw used a 9-0 run midway through the first half to knot the score at 18-18.

The Little Giants again scored nine straight to push the lead to 27-18 on the way to a 36-26 halftime lead.

Wabash extended its lead to as many as 14 before the Tigers closed to within five at 61-56 on Ryan Wernt'z three-pointer with 5:35 left. The Little Giants then scored six straight to push the margin to 10.
