Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Jim Edward Collins, 40, Terre Haute, was booked in at 6:53 p.m. Wednesday by Deputy Doug Nally for reckless possession of paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

* Robert Eugene Collins, 46, Terre Haute, was booked in at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday by Deputy Nally for possession of methamphetamine and reckless possession of paraphernalia.

* Erica Kay Thompson, 30, Greencastle, was booked in at 1:50 a.m. Thursday by Greencastle Officer Matt Huffman for dealing methamphetamines, possession of methamphetamines for false reporting or informing.

* James D. Reid, 28, Indianapolis, was booked in at 2:07 a.m. Thursday by Officer Huffman for false reporting or informing. He was released 10 hours later on his own recognizance.

* Todd P. Lowe, 43, Terre Haute, was booked in at 2:40 a.m. Thursday by jail staff on a petition to revoke probation.

* Barry Rominger, 46, Brazil, was booked in at 2:47 a.m. Thursday by jail staff on a petition to revoke probation.

* Harold Rogers, 47, Brazil, was booked in at 4:13 p.m. Thursday by Greencastle Officer Chris Helmer for public intoxication and driving while intoxicated. He was later released on his own recognizance.

* Brad Moy, 36, Quincy, Ind., was booked in at 2 p.m. Friday by Greencastle Police Officer Darrel Bunten for failing to appear in court.

* Lonny C. Baker, 42, Indianapolis, was booked in at 10:53 p.m. Friday for driving while intoxicated and public intoxication. He was arrested by Trooper Adam Edwards. He was released on bond at 6:03 a.m. Saturday.

* Donna Marie Parks, 48, Bainbridge, was booked in at 11:56 p.m. Friday for public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. She was arrested by Greencastle Officer Matt Huffman.

* Donald R. Parks, 51, Roachdale, was booked in at 12:12 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was arrested by Officer Huffman. He was released on his own recognizance at 12:55 a.m. Saturday.

* Randy Lee Cummings, 47, Cloverdale, was booked in at 12:36 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication and violation of probation. He was arrested by Sgt. Don Pettit.

* James William Frazier, 21, Cloverdale, was booked in at 1:53 a.m. Saturday for possession of marijuana. He was arrested by a Roachdale police officer.

* Thomas Deck, 38, Michigantown, was booked in at 12:21 p.m. Saturday for public intoxication, refusal to submit to a chemical test and driving while intoxicated. He was arrested by Reserve Deputy Joe Tesmer.

* Jeffrey Dale Hendricks, 46, Cloverdale, was booked in at 2:54 p.m. Saturday for trespass and theft. He was arrested by Reserve Deputy Gary Boller.

* Jason Alan Hendricks, 21, Cloverdale, was booked in at 3:05 p.m. Saturday for theft and trespass. He was arrested by Deputy Boller.

* Larry G. Farley, 37, Poland, was booked in at 3:27 p.m. Saturday for theft and trespass. He was arrested by Boller.

* Michael Terry, 19, Poland, was booked in at 3:41 p.m. Saturday for theft and trespass. He was arrested by Boller.

* Rodney Jay Lady, 39, Greencastle, was booked in at 7:58 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct. He was arrested by Deputy Ronnie Campbell. He was released at 8:20 p.m. Saturday.

* Jeffrey Raymond Brown, 29, Greencastle, was booked in at 9:07 p.m. Saturday for resisting law enforcement and driving while intoxicated. He was arrested by Reserve Deputy Downing. He was released on bond at 9:22 a.m. Sunday.

* Lee Wayne Kiger, 38, Greencastle, was booked in at 11:26 p.m. Saturday for battery and public intoxication. He was arrested by Reserve Deputy Denna DeLaCruz.

Greencastle Fire Dept.

A structure fire was among four emergency runs handled recently by the Greencastle Fire Dept.

* At 2:27 p.m. Saturday, firefighters went to 26 Martinsville St. for an electrical fire that started near a couch. No additional information was available on the occupants or damage to the home, but firefighters returned to the Greencastle station at 4:12 p.m. Assisting with the incident were Cloverdale Township Volunteer firefighters, Operation Life ambulance personnel and Greencastle police. Madison Township volunteer firefighters covered the Greencastle station.

* At 6:44 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a one-car accident at 3596 S. CR 200 West. No one was injured. Firefighters assisted with the vehicle and clean-up. They returned to station at 7:53 p.m. Also at the scene were Greencastle Police, Operation Life and the sheriff's department.

* At 7:06 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an unintentional alarm at the Res-Care facility at 1540 Bloomington St. They returned to station at 7:36 p.m.

* At 11:38 p.m. Saturday, firefighters went to 111 Frazier St. to assist Operation Life on a medical run. They returned to station at 12:05 a.m. Sunday.
