Glenn M. "Pete" Michael, 87, Fruitland Park, Fla., formerly of Putnam County, died Tuesday.

Born in Bainbridge, he was the son of Glenn and Tressie (Matthew) Michael.

He had owned and operated The Russet Restaurant in Broad Ripple in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a 50-year member of Temple Lodge 47 in Greencastle, and a 50-year member of Murat Shrine in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Pamela Michael and Terry Ann Michael, both of The Villages, Fla., and Mikki Owens Records, Phoenix, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bob Michael.

A masonic service is set for 11 a.m. Friday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with funeral services to follow with Rev. Randell Boys officiating. Interment will be private at Bainbridge Cemetery.

Visitation is one hour prior to services Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
