50th anniversary for Burns

Wayne and Julie Burns

All family and friends are invited to an open house to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Wayne and Julie Burns, Greencastle.

The celebration will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Cloverdale Church of Christ's Fellowship Building, 205 Brown Ave.

Gifts should be omitted.

Burns is an IBM retiree and currently works for the State Highway Department. His wife is formerly of Julie's Poodle Parlor and Julie's Fairway Restaurant. She currently works as a home health aid for the elderly.

The couple are members of the Cloverdale Church of Christ. They still reside on Bloomington Street in Greencastle in the same house they were married. They are the parents of the late Alan Burns and the late Terry Burns, Lori Smith and Aaron Burns.

They have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
