Cloverdale falls at North Central

FARMERSBURG -- The Cloverdale boys' squad saw its two game win streak snapped when it visited North Central on Saturday. The Clovers dropped the contest 64-51, falling to 6-9 on the season.

Senior Craig Blair led the Clovers with 20 points and was followed by Brandon Moon with 13. Raine Young chipped in seven, Ryan Dean four and Jason Salter added three. Robbie Randle and Kevin Dean scored two each for Cloverdale.

The Clovers trailed by two going into the half but due to a four point third quarter, Cloverdale let North Central extended its lead to nine after the quarter and never looked back.

On the night, the Clovers shot an impressive 18-19 from the free throw line.

Cloverdale will take on South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
