GHS freshmen down Bulldogs

MONROVIA -- The Greencastle freshman boys' basketball team picked up its 10th win of the season with a 45-43 victory over Monrovia Wednesday evening.

Trailing by as many as 8 points in the second quarter and 6 at the half, the Tiger Cubs used a third quarter rally to trail by only 1 at the end of three.

Going 4-of-6 from the free-throw line with less than two minutes remaining, the Tiger Cubs held on for the win.

The win pushes their record to 10-5 losses and 7-2 since the holidays. The win also keeps Greencastle unbeaten in the conference.

Tyler Lewis led the Cubs with 19 points and Keegan Remsburg added 10.
