Putnam County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* Steven M. Smith, 24, Cloverdale, was booked in at 1:03 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated, public intoxication, reckless driving and trafficking with an inmate. He was arrested by Trooper Mike Wood.

* Shienisty A. Wonders, 21, Quincy, was booked in at 2:52 a.m. Saturday for driving in violation of restricted license, public intoxication and false reporting or informing. She was arrested by Cloverdale Officer Charles Hallam.

* Danielle M. Hepfer, 23, no town available, was booked in at 4:08 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated. She was arrested by Trooper John Myers. She was released on $800 bond at 10:07 a.m. Saturday.

* Joshua L. Cunning-ham, 23, Greencastle, was booked in at 4:41 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication and driving while intoxicated. He was arrested by Trooper Charlie Boller.

* Joshua Wright, 18, Greencastle, was booked in at 1:50 p.m. Saturday for theft and forgery. He was arrested by Greencastle Officer Albert Epple.

* Kenneth Wayne Stone, 23, Greencastle, was booked in at 4:40 p.m. Saturday for theft. He was arrested by Officer Darrel Bunton.

* Vicky Lynn Lawson, 49, Greencastle, was booked in at 9:20 p.m. Saturday for domestic battery. She was arrested at PCJ.

* George Chaplin, 54, Greencastle, was booked in at 9:43 p.m. Saturday for domestic battery. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Jerrell Antoine Horton, 20, Greencastle, was booked in at 3:42 a.m. Sunday for battery. He was arrested by DePauw Officer Rick Keller.

* Dallesia Jasmine Payton, 19, Greencastle, was booked in at 3:59 a.m. Saturday for battery and possession of alcohol by a minor. She was arrested by Keller.

* William Mark Dower, 46, Cape Coral, Fla., was booked in at 5:09 a.m. Sunday on a petition to revoke probation. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Dras Benson Tirey, 19, Oolitic, was booked in at 6:05 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication, driving while intoxicated, possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to stop after an accident. He was arrested by Greencastle Officer Vaughan. He was released on $800 bond at 12:21 p.m. Sunday.

* Todd Daniel Smith, 19, Bedford, was booked in at 6:19 a.m. Sunday for possession of alcohol by a minor and public intoxication. He was arrested by Officer Vaughan. He was released on $800 bond at 10:27 a.m. Sunday.

* Ronnie Daniel Thompson, 18, Bedford, was booked in at 6:19 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and minor in possession of alcohol. He was arrested by Vaughan. He was released on $800 bond at 10:09 a.m. Sunday.

* Winter Myriah Evans, 19, Bedford, was booked in at 9:33 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and possession of alcohol by a minor. She was arrested by Vaughan. She was released on $800 bond at 2:05 p.m. Sunday.

* Pamela Doane, 46, Greencastle, was booked in at 11:11 a.m. Sunday for failure to stop after an accident and driving while intoxicated. She was arrested by Deputy Doug Nally. She was released on $500 bond at 12:04 p.m. Sunday.

* Thomas Luther Hill, 41, Avon, was booked in at 6:47 p.m. Sunday on a warrant. He was arrested at PCJ.

* Laura A. Fariello, 40, Stilesville, was booked in at 8:21 p.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and public intoxication. She was arrested by Officer Vaughan.

Greencastle Fire Dept.

Greencastle firefighters handled three runs Saturday.

* At 1:41 p.m., firefighters went to a dumpster fire at 82 N. U.S. 231 near the fairgrounds. They returned to station at 2:22 p.m.

* At 8:07 p.m., firefighters went to 22 Winesap, Reelsville to assist firefighters with a detached garage fire. They returned to station at 9:21 p.m.

* At 10:32 p.m., firefighters went to Humbert Hall, 208 E. Olive St., for a burned popcorn event. They re-turned to station at 10:45 p.m.

Reelsville Fire Dept.

The Reelsville Fire Department made the following run on Saturday:

* At 8:04 p.m., firefighters responded to a garage fire at 22 Winesap.They were assisted of the run by crews from Greencastle and Cloverdale, while Madison Township manned the station. The fire was contained, and crews returned to the station at 9:13 p.m. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
