Florence "Lucille" Keagle, 93, Brazil, died Thursday at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

Born in Hammond, Ind., she was the daughter of Robert L. and Florence Scobee Woodall. She married Virgil Keagle in 1936 in Hammond.

Following graduation from Hammond High School, she continued her education and became a nurse and worked in healthcare until her retirement.

She was a member of East Side Christian Church of Brazil.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon L. Pavnica and husband Paul, Virginia; one sister, Naomi French, Texas and six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Virgil and one sister, Lois Ella Jean Myers.

Visitation is 4 -6 p.m. Sunday at Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Central Time, Wednesday, March 5 at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond.
