Drug usage topic of parent meeting

Friday, February 29, 2008

The signs and symptoms of drug usage will be the topic for the Greencastle High School Parent Council when they meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 3 in the Multipurpose Room

Guest Speakers Detective Yordy, Senior Trooper Pat Etter, Road Patrol Drug Interdiction Officer, and Senior Excise Officer Jerrod Baugh will be on site to answer questions parents may have.

"The trio has already given their presentation to the faculty and staff with excellent reviews," says Peggy Wood, Member of GHS Parent Council.

The Parent Council has also been approved to launch a new website linked to the school website titled, "I Want To Know."

This page is a forum in which parents can contact other parents, without ramification of judgment, if there is a child in trouble.

This page will be working soon and is welcome to all who wish to participate. Forms to sign up for the "I Want To Know Club" will are available in the High School office, and will also be handed out at the Monday night meeting.

For any questions, contact Peggy Wood at info@thewoodgroup.net.

  • Why don't we just change the name of this town to Salem. A witch hunt by any other name is still a witch hunt.
