Cougar grapplers edge Monrovia

BAINBRIDGE -- The North Putnam Middle School wrestling team edged Monrovia Monday night, 51-50.

Winners for the Cougars were Caleb Winnings (70 pounds), Brayden Montgomery (90), Jake Truax (110), Joe Mindiola (120), Stacy Hensley (135), Cody Oliver (145), Eric Davis (180), Nathaniel Crosby (220) and Derek Eisman (heavyweight).

In reserve matches, Montgomery (90), Morgan Hensley (115) and Taylor Zaring (110) were all winners.

The Cougars travel to Tuttle at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.
