DePauw swimmers collect more accolades

OXFORD, Ohio -- Fifteenth-ranked DePauw womens' swimming is in seventh place after the second of three days of the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming Championships after an All-America relay finish and three honorable mention All-America swims highlighted another record-setting day.

The 200-yard medley relay of Katie Doogan, Maddison Hamil, Amanda Stier, Katie Massey earned All-America honors after finishing fourth in 1:47.25

Doogan and Callie Boehme each finished with honorable mention All-America swims in the 400 individual medley as Doogan finished ninth in 4:28.79 and Boehme was 16th in 4:34.60.

Amanda Stier earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 100 butterfly with a 14th-place finish in 57.93 seconds

The Tigers now have three All-American relays and five individual honorable mention performances.

In the morning session on Friday,

The 200-yard medley relay finished third in the prelims in a school-record 1:46.75 which was 2.64 seconds faster than their seed time.

Doogan earned a spot in the consolation finals after finishing ninth in the 400 individual medley in 4:31.96. Stier also earned a spot in the consolation finals with a 10th-place finish in the 100 butterfly prelims in a school-record 57.18 seconds. Boehme finished 12th in the 400 IM in 4:34.11 in the morning.
