Robert Layne

Robert Eugene Layne, 39, Brazil, Ind., passed away at 12:50 p.m., March 29, 2008 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 12, 1968, in Brazil, Ind. to Virgil and Norma (Graves) Layne.

He enjoyed working on cars and was talented at auto body work. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite cat Maggie.

He was preceded in death by parents Virgil and Norma (Graves) Layne;

siblings Larry, Virgil "Andy", and Terry Layne.

He is survived by wife Jennifer Layne, Brazil, Ind.

son Corey Layne, daughter Shelby Layne

siblings Albert "Bill" Layne of Terre Haute, Evelyn Targett and husband Dean of Brazil, Karen Evenson and companion Barry Kirby of Brazil, Lisa Layne and companion Steven Griffith of Brazil, Barbara I. Keasling and husband Robert of Brazil, and Russell "Jr." Layne and wife Beverly of Brazil, as well as many nieces nephews and extended family members.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at 1 p.m. with officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 2, 2008, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
