BAINBRIDGE -- A huge first inning was all North Putnam would need Tuesday as they scored 15 first-inning runs on their way to a 16-0 win over Cloverdale in five innings.

The first was highlighted by two home runs from Jordan Berry and one each from Shawn Diebold and Brock Jones.

All of the Cougars got into the act, though, as J.T. Francies led the way, going 4-for-4 with a double. Berry had three hits, two homers and five RBI. Griffen Dahlstrom had three hits, including two doubles.

Kyle Rooker had two hits with a double. Diebold had the home run, a triple and four RBI. Jones collected a home run and a double.
