Eagle golf loses on road

ELLETTSVILLE -- The South Putnam golf team lost to Edgewood Tuesday night, 149-193.

Low scorer for the Eagles was Tyler Newby with a 44. Michael Nichols was next with a 49. Damon Robinson and Tyler Shoffner each shot a 50 to round out the scoring.

Tyler Cox had a 53 for the Eagles. Dylan Gilbert shot a 58.

The Eagles will be back in action at 9 a.m. Saturday when they travel to Rivercrest Golf Course for the Covington Invitational.
