Minnie Stephens

Mrs. Minnie Dell Stephens, 93, of Greencastle, died Friday at the Putnam County Hospital.

Born Sept. 17, 1914 in Jenkins, Ky., she was the daughter of Robert and Martha Jane (Little) Stewart. She married Samuel A. Stephens and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stephens had been a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Barger and son-in-law Herschel of Fillmore; a brother, Ray Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Billy Ray Ramsey; three sisters, Lexie Vandernott, Ada Metzger, and Estelle Young; four brothers, Harold, Curtis, Robert, and Earl Stewart.

Private family services will be held on Tuesday. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
