John M. Casady

John M. Casady, 71, of Fillmore died Wednesday.

Mr. Casady was born in Putnam County on July 17, 1936 to John M. Sr. and Leo Downey Casady.

He was in the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He had been a technical illustrator for the USAF Civil Service and Magnavox for several years, and was also a self-employed gunsmith.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Deana Casady of Coatesville; two nieces, two nephews and six great-nieces.

His parents and a brother, Michael Casady, preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Coatesville Cemetery.

Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, is handling arrangements.
