Bertha Jean Brothers Stoner, 84, of Indianapolis died Saturday, June 28, 2008.

Mrs. Stoner was an administrative assistant for the Indianapolis Public Schools for 22 years and for Indiana Farm Bureau Co-Op for 17 years.

She attended the Church of the Master and was a member of the Bridgeport Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star No. 513. She was a volunteer for the Cheer Guild at Riley Children's Hospital for 12 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Sue Ann Moreland; a grandson, James Allan Moreland; three great-grandchildren, Britnay Nichole Moreland, Joshua Allan Moreland and Brooke Rowland; a brother, Thomas Wayne Brothers of Morton; a brother-in-law, Cecil Stoner; and two nephews.

Her husband, Edward Allan Stoner, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel.

Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
