Some thoughts on the current tax system

To the editor:

"The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools." Herbert Spencer.

"The surest way to overturn the social order is to debauch the currency." Karl Marx.

David Walker, recent Comptroller General of the United States, is currently warning that the U.S. is on a "burning platform" of unsustainable finances.

In 1960, Walt Rostow (Council on Foreign Relations) declared that U.S. policy (of the power elite?) was to create world government. Richard Garner (CFR) wrote in 1974 that we must make "end runs around the Constitution" to accomplish this.

And Rowan Gaither (CFR) in the 1950s said we must "so alter our life in the United States that we can comfortably be merged with the Soviet Union" (which over a 70-year period murdered more than 60 million of its own people). Reference conspiracy to make world government happen, David Rockefeller in his David Rockefeller: Memoirs book said of his efforts to bring about one world government, "I stand guilt and I am proud of it."

In 2007, a Hudson Institute White Paper wrote that the intent of the SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership) (to become the North American Union) is that the Executive Branch exercise full "authority" to enforce and execute whatever is decided by a three-nation agreement of "civil service professionals" as though it were "law." Whatever happened to Congress? Has a Congress which, collectively appears to have abandoned its oath to uphold the Constitution, ceded its power to the executive branch (as in when to declare war)?

It appears that Maurice Strong (UN) who said in 1993, and since, that in order to bring on world government, we must bring down the developed countries, can soon say "mission accomplished."

The countries of the European Union are now painfully aware of what the loss of sovereignty to the bureaucrats in Brussels means to them.
