Thank you to all who helped at the park

To the Editor:

I would like to say thank you to several groups and individuals.

First off, thank you to our lifeguards, snack shack, full-time and part-time employees of the parks and recreation department. Keep up your good work.

Also, thanks to WW2 11th Army Airborne vet Charles Evans, Brad Tucker Insurance, Hays, Murphy, Sharp Insurance, Elks Lodge and Wal-Mart Transportation for your donations to put the new flag pole in Robe-Ann park; to Snowy Pines nursery for the nearly 100 flowers that were planted in the triangle in the park; and to Vicki Evans for planting all the new flowers that are in the park.

It seems so simple, yet we could say it more. Again, thank you.
