Thursday, July 31, 2008
Members of Boy Scout Troop No. 99 planted a new Crimson Maple tree in Maple Berry Park earlier this month. The scouts planted the tree to earn Citizenship in the Community merit badges. To obtain this badge, scouts must completed eight hours of service to the community. Rod Weinschenk was in charge of planting. Pictured above are troop leader Harold Brooks, Henry Osterhoudt, Sedrick Weinschenk and Cycle Dunbar.
