Greencastle should be proud of lifeguards

To the Editor:

I have recently had the pleasure of taking a 5-year-old grandson to swimming lessons. Greencastle should be very proud of their lifeguards.

I know there are several of them, but the only two I came into contact with were C.J. and John. As I sat and observed, these two young men had patience and perseverance that were unbelievable.

Not only were they very knowledgeable, but they were both kind and caring, knowing each student by their first name.

With the world situation as it is today, I am sure the parents of C.J. and John are quite proud, as should be the Greencastle Parks Department.

Thank you for renewing my faith and confidence in our teenagers.
