Girls' soccer sectional pairings

The IHSAA drew the pairings for the 2008 girls' soccer state tournament on Monday.

Girls' sectionals are set to take place on Oct. 13, 14, 16 and 18.

The North Putnam girls' soccer team will take part in the Brownsburg sectional. The Cougars will face Tri-West in match four of the tournament, which is slated to be the second match on Tuesday.

The winner of match four will take on the Brownsburg/Southmont winner in Thursday's second match.

The Greencastle girls will travel to Terre Haute South to defend their 2007 Sectional 24 championship.

The Lady Tiger Cubs will take on Northview in match four, which is Tuesday's second match. The winner will take on the West Vigo/South Vermillion winner in Thursday's second match.

The sectional championship matches at both locations are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18.
