Barbara King

Barbara Ann King, 77, of Cloverdale, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

Born Feb. 8, 1931, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Francis) Sallia. She married Robert Lynn King on Jan. 29, 1955, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1992.

She was a homemaker and did clerical work for Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Cloverdale Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include two daughters, Katrina Kay King, of Indianapolis, and Susanne "Suzy" K. Hinman, of Poland; a son, Thomas King, of Cloverdale; a sisters, Louise Brown, of Salt Lake City, Utah; a brothers, Edward Sallia, of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with burial to follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.

Calling is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home.
