Take a good look at what candidates stand for

To the Editor:

With the elections nearing, it amazes me to hear parties trashing each other.

Wouldn't it be something to hear during a debate if the candidates had to not mention the other party and just tell what and how they were going to make my and your country better? When all along we should know they can't do anything but put heat on the congress and if they don't like it they simply veto?

Personally, I love the United States of America. I don't want to live in China, Soviet Union, Cuba, Argentina.

I believe that I get what I earn, I don't think the government is smarter than I when it comes to managing. Look at what our wonderful congress, including our president, has done in the past few weeks.

For all the many years I have voted, I have never seen such a mess. In my opinion I would challenge all voters to really take a look at what their candidate stand for and vote.
