New Salon Opens

Salon South celebrated a grand opening with a ribbon cutting last week. Cutting the ribbon are Jessica Glen, owner operator and cosmetologist, Amber Tomasino, nail technician, Mechelle Lockwood, certified massage therapist, Laura Fogle, cosmetologist and Francie Glen, receptionist. Standing behind them are Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tammy Amor, Sue Bowser, ONB, Matt Welker, Chamber Board President, Sue Murray, Mayor of Greencastle, Andrew O'Hair, Chamber Board, Teresa Glenn, Dale Pierce and Dona Pierce, family members, Tracy Maynard and Evelyn Brown, Chamber Ambassadors.

Salon South, a new full service beauty salon opened its doors earlier this month. Jessica Glen is the new owner operator as well as a cosmetologist.

The salon will offer hair styling, cosmetology, massage therapy and nail services. They have Candle Cravings, unique handmade scented candles and accessories and a line of gift baskets called A Tisket, A Tasket.

The new business will also offer a full line of hair and nail products.

Open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, they are located at 504 S. Bloomington St., Greencastle. Information and appointments are available by calling 765-301-4371.
