Sheriff's Department

Three more accidents were reported by the Putnam County Sheriff's office due to the icy road conditions Monday.

Kristin Judy, Greencastle, was traveling on County Road 600 W at 8:40 a.m., when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Daniel Taylor, Greencastle, was traveling on County Road 350 N at 9:30 a.m., when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a mailbox. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Tamara Ulmer, Bainbridge, was traveling east on U.S. 36 at 9:43 a.m., when she lost control of her vehicle and it hit an embankment. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Putnam County Jail

Three people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

Nicole Johnson, 21, Cloverdale, was booked at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday for theft.

Jorge Caudillo, 30, Logansport, was booked at 2:23 a.m. Thursday for driving under the influence.

Stacy Walton, 44, was booked at 2:55 a.m. Thursday for operating a vehicle in violation of the terms of a restricted driving permit.
