BAINBRIDGE -- The North Putnam School Board met briefly Wednesday and approved a resolution adding more than $150,000 in additional appropriations to the 2008 budget.
The matter was open to a public hearing, but as no one from the public was present to comment, the board voted 6-0 to accept the measure as presented by Superintendent Murray Pride.
The moves made were for $105,064 in additional appropriations to the general fund, $6,456 to capital projects, $9,460 toward transportation operating and $29,065 for pre-school special education.
The North Putnam Community School Board regularly meets on the third Thursday of the month at the corporation facility.
