Allen Carney

Allen Carney, 57, of Cloverdale died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 15, 1952 to Harold Leroy and Alma Marlyeen Stockdale Carney in Beech Grove. He married Sharon Guy Carney on Jan. 11, 1971 and she survives.

Other survivors include his sons Timothy R. Carney and wife Nicole of Brooklyn and Larry Carney and wife Jane of Plainfield, mother Marlyeen Carney of Cloverdale, sister Nancy Schopmeyer and husband Ron of Cloverdale, brother David H. Carney of Cloverdale and grandchildren Dylan and Alyssa Carney.

He was preceded in death by his father and granddaughter Haley Nicole Carney.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 1 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale with Pastor Wes McClure officiating. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.

Calling will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
