Bone-Chilling Temperatures

Temperatures at 8 a.m. Thursday morning were below zero. The sign at Old National Bank in downtown Greencastle showed minus six degrees. However, as the day wore on, temperatures did not improve much.

  • I can't beleive I have to send my 6 year old to school today(greencastle), all of the other schools are out. I sure hope parents are smart and buddle their kids up. I would hate for the school corp to feel bad if a child has to go to the ER for frost bite or hypothermia.

  • It's not THAT cold out. I lived up north for many years and it didnt matter how cold it was...you went to school. And at night you plugged your car in so you can get to work.
