The Greencastle boys' freshman basketball team dropped a couple of contests Saturday and Monday.

On Saturday, the Tiger Cubs fell to Owen Valley in the opening game at the OV freshman invitational 40-26.

Leading 16-8 with two minutes to go in the opening half, Greencastle was outscored 9-0, and trailed 17-16 at the break. Shooting only 3 of 16 in the second half, the Tiger Cubs fell behind and could never recover.

Trevor Huber led the scoring for Greencastle with eight points.
