South Putnam downed by South Vermillion

The South Putnam boys' eighth grade A-team fell to South Vermillion 27-14, while the B-team was edged 16-15 Thursday evening.

A trio of Eagles led the team in scoring. Lewie Knoy, Ryan Chestnut and Aaron Parker all scored four points each, with Kinser Franklin adding two of his own.

Sage Dinkel's six points led the B-team charge, with J.D. Briones following with four points. Brandon Smith chipped in three points and Trent Workman contributed two points in the loss.
