Roland Eugene Jones

Roland "Ronnie" Eugene Jones, 69, of Martinsville, formerly of Greencastle, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009.

He was born April 24, 1939 to Venard Earl and Margaret Louise Parrish Jones.

Mr. Jones was a carpenter, working most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended Greencastle schools.

Survivors include brothers David Jones and wife Karen of Brownsburg and Charles Jones and wife Pam of Brazil and sisters Sharon Randall and husband Leon of Gosport and Julie Paduano and husband Chuck of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Janet Ruth Evans.

A private family ceremony was conducted.
