Eagle wrestlers win 3-way

The South Putnam Junior High wrestling team battled North Putnam and Tri-West Thursday. The Eagles defeated the Cougars 93-24 and the Bruins 64-44.

Going 2-0 on the day for South Putnam were Evan Potts (100), Tyler Martin (120), Rhaine Cluggish (135), Sam Sloan (140), Rudy Harris (145), Brandon Smith (155), and Tanner Thompson (165)

The Eagles had 11 wrestlers go 1-1 on the day. They were Nick Owen (75), Collin Berry (80), Klayton Vittetow (85), Anthony Hendricks (90), Zane Crosby (95), Joe Waters (105), Ian Zeffel (115), Marcus Skinner (125), Trent Workman (130), Ryan Chestnut (185), and Jacob Williams (220).

The Eagles will be back in action Wednesday at Rockville beginning at 6 p.m.
