Clovers place fourth

The Cloverdale Clovers middle school wrestling team hosted an eight team invitational this past Saturday.

The Clovers finished fourth on the day with 181 points, including three individual champions, and two runners-up.

Finishing in first place with records of 3-0 were Max Secrest (85), Jacob Camacho (120), and Jacob Creasey (135). Runners-up include Dale Inman (70) and Kaleb Camacho (80).

Also placing in third place for the Clovers were Jacob Scobee (75), Brody Pfaff (140) and Skyler Mann (220). And finishing fourth were wrestlers Colton Wilkes (90) and Andrew Howard (165).

Getting first place in the reserve matches with records of 1-0 were Brandon Hughes (80), Garry Spencer (85), and Ethan Boyd (90). Jackson Szczerbik (80) finished second. And Alex Kilgore (115) finished third.

The Clovers wrestle again this Saturday at the WCAA Seven Team Tourney starting at 9 a.m.
