GMS splits with Tuttle

On Tuesday, the Greencastle seventh grade girls' squad improved to 5-4 with a 20-19 win over Tuttle.

The Tiger Cubs entered the fourth quarter down five, 19-14, but held Tuttle scoreless in the final stanza for the win.

Shelby Earl scored 10 points, while Alex Basile added six. Miranda Nuz and Danielle Thomas chipped in two points each in the win.

In B-team action, Tuttle defeated the Tiger Cubs 19-9, with Alyssa Tesmer scoring five points and Jessica Strezlic scoring four.

Greencastle will travel to North Clay today at 5:30 p.m. GMS will host the first round of the Putnam County Tournament Tuesday.
