GMS falls to North Clay

The GMS seventh grade girls' basketball team closed out their regular season on the road against North Clay Thursday.

The Lady Tigers fell to the 14-5 Knights, 27-22 in a close, hard fought contest. Shelby Earl tallied 16 pts, while Miranda Nuz added four and Corrine Trigg two.

In the B-game, North Clay won 28-10. Elizabeth Johnson had six pts, while Alyssa Tesmer scored three.

On Tuesday, the Lady Tiger's will host North Putnam in the opening round of the County Tourney with a 6 p.m. tip off.
