Bingham to appear on Indy Radio program

Jinsie Bingham, Greencastle's "unofficial historian" will appear on the University of Indianapolis's WICR 88.7 on Saturday.

Bingham will be on "Hoosier History Live with Nelson Price" from 11:30 a.m. until noon. Price, an author and historian, is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi Foundation.

Price had seen a video of WTIU's "Our Town Greencastle" and was excited at the chance to have someone from Greencastle appear on his program.

"I feel like it's a great honor," Bingham said. "I'm excited to talk about Greencastle and Putnam County. I'm sorry it's only a half hour."
