Putnam County confirms one more H1N1 case

There has been one confirmed case of the novel H1N1 flu in Putnam County. The Indiana State Department of Health has reported eight new cases in the state, which brings Indiana's total confirmed cases to 36.

As for the seven other new cases, they are in Elkhart with one and Marion with six. The following is an updated county breakdown:

* Hendricks County (1)

* Lake (7)

* Madison (1)

* Marion (20)

* Porter (1)

* Putnam (2)

*St. Joseph (2)

* Tippecanoe (1)

  • I think it's funny that this stupid swine flu is getting so much attention period... 250-300 people die from the regular flu every day.
