Leeson attempted to avoid a collision by veering left, but Ryan's minivan struck the right side of his RV trailer. Both vehicles traveled off the roadway after impact.

According to the accident report, there were six passengers in Ryan's van who complained of minor injuries. The accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. May 25.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

James Manuel, Terre Haute, was traveling south on CR 400S in a 2001 Mack tractor-trailer when the trailer wheels dropped off the pavement. It caused the load to shift and Manuel to lose control of the truck.

The Mack then struck a GTE utility phone box and the trailer's contents spilled into the yard of a residence at 2933 W. CR 400S. The trailer rolled onto its right side, while the truck continued to travel approximately 210 feet.
