Dennis Myers

Dennis A. Myers, 53, of Marshall died at 9:49 am Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute.

He retired from Eli Lilly and Company Clinton Laboratories with more than 25 years of service. He was also a part time farmer with his son-in-law Rod Jones.

He was born Sept. 12, 1955 in Crawfordsville to Wesley Myers and Marthene Williams Myers.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Deborah Gordon Myers, whom he married Aug. 11, 1973 in Rockville; his parents of Marshall; three daughters, April (Travis) Lambermont of Greencastle, Tabby (Max) Dugger of Rockville and Michelle (Rod) Jones of Marshall; one brother, Keith (Kim) Myers of Houston, Texas; one sister, Betty (Brad) Howard of Sedalia, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Dillon, Macey and Mallory Lambermont, Morgan and Taylor Dugger, Austin, Seth and Lexi Jones; his mother-in-law, Pat Gordon of Rockville; several brothers and sisters-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Bosley on July 20, 2008. '

He was a 1973 graduate of Turkey Run High School. He loved working outdoors, farming, working with his tools and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Gooch Funeral Home at 112 W. Howard St. in Rockville. Burial will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery at Rockville. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
