Betty Geraldine Randall

Betty Geraldine Randall, 84, of Cloverdale died on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

She was born on April 20, 1925 in Indianapolis and was the daughter of the late Gerald E. and Lucy Bewley Dillon. She was married to Robert J. Randall on May 22, 1943, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2007.

Mrs. Randall was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Millgrove.

She is survived by her children, Bobbie G. Hooker and husband Richard of Holly Springs, Miss., Pamela S. Tingle and husband Dale K. of Spencer, Beverly A. Weddle and husband Mike of Independence, Mo., Jacqueline Schabel and husband Jack of Coatesville, Rhonda C. Brown and husband Loren of Poland and Timothy D. Randall and Diana of Cloverdale; sisters Loretta Green of Edgewater, Fla. and Brenda Stanfield of Indianapolis; brothers Maurice Dillon and wife Anetta of Danville and Melvyn Dillon and wife Inell of Indianapolis, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Doris Dillon and brother William Dillon.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Burial will be in Hudson Hill Cemetery.

Calling will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
