CSX proposes speed increase

GREENCASTLE -- At 6 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the monthly meeting of the Greencastle Common Council, the city will host a public discussion with officials from CSX Railroad about proposed changes in the city.

The railroad has proposed an increase of speed limit for trains passing through the city as well as closing Jacob St. at its crossing.

Citizens are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Greencastle City Hall.
