Langdon leads Clovers to second place at Forest Park

BRAZIL -- The Cloverdale girls' golf team battled Northview and Linton Thursday evening at Forest Park. The Knights edged Cloverdale 186-190, while Linton was third with a total of 221.

Senior Kayla Langdon fired a 43 to tie for the low round of the match along with Northview's Mandy Thomspon. Clover Victoria Boyette shot a 47, while Elizabeth Wiley and Sydney Shrum carded 50 each. Brooke Thompson shot a 61, while Dani Ellecrecht and Savanna Gaddis shot 71s and Cedar Woodworth ended the round with a 72.

Cloverdale will travel to Oak Ridge to face South Putnam Monday at 4 p.m.
